Simon Dinnerstein will be teaching a class in drawing and painting the figure and portrait. The class, in his Park Slope studio, is for beginning and advanced students. Each class has limited enrollment.

Drawing and painting are ways of enlarging our vision of nature and the human form. A variety of media, techniques and art history are emphasized as well as a respect and interest in personal expression.

Simon Dinnerstein has exhibited widely in the United States and has had seventeen one-man exhibits. He has received numerous awards, including a Rome Prize and a Fulbright Grant. His work has been the subject of two recent monographs, The Art of Simon Dinnerstein, and Simon Dinnerstein: Paintings and Drawings.

*To accommodate complex work schedules, there will also be the option of registering for a 6 or 10 week semester.
